The family is the nucleus of life. It is our link to our past and the bridge to our future. Nirvana Ministries understands and supports this concept. All of our initiatives and work are focused on family empowerment. We believe in strengthening the family and in turn, strengthen the community. Our central focus is on men. Men must become more assertive in supporting and strengthening their immediate families and the community families. Our mission is to motivate, support and empower them through this process. In the words of the honorable Marcus M. Garvey, "UP YOU MIGHTY RACE, YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH WHAT YOU WILL."

Culture and history is the heart beat of family and community development. Our agency does on line history and culture workshops. We also do public workshops and in service programs for educators. Our focus is to highlight the significance of history for families, communities and young people.
